Shirley Sherrod

I'm not sure what to make of this issue. But since Fox News seems to deem it important, I thought I should dedicate a short post to it.

This woman, in my mind, is probably a racist. I know, I know, but her whole story was about racial transformation! I'm aware of that. But I'm also aware of the probable fact that more stories and more comments from Ms. Sherrod will likely surface regarding race. Because you have to look at the issue on a personal level. The woman's father was murdered by an unprosecuted white man. I could see the possibility of her being leery towards other white men because of that. However, that fact does not give her a pass to be racist to white people, for just because one white man was a bad person, does not allow the prejudiced grouping of white people as a whole to be bad people (a fact that some blacks were perfectly content with using in the case of King Samir Shabazz and the New Black Panther Party, but seem not to think relevant on the issue of slavery).

As Laura Ingraham so eloquently put it, Sherrod is not the Mother Theresa the biased left-wing media is making her out to be, but neither is she some racist raving lunatic ordering others to kill white people and their children. And thank goodness for that, because I just don't think I could take another one of those kooks.

The Obama Deception

Recently I was looking through Common Cents, a brilliant blog of note, and happened across a post talking about the deletion of a video titled The Obama Deception. Naturally the name of the video caught my attention, for if there's anything Obama's famous for in my book it's his numerous deceptions, and I decided to go ahead and watch it on Youtube. Although it took up a lot of my time, I'm glad that I watched it, for it provided a refreshing new take on all the happenings of our beloved government. And even though I didn't agree with everything that was said in the video, the vast majority of it was spot on. To be truthful, it scared the crap out of me.

It detailed this horrible version of our leaders, painted an awful picture of our takeover of the world, and made it seem as though we, as citizens, have no control whatsoever in everything that is going wrong in our country, and the rich men of Wall Street and Bilderberg and Trilateral Commission have absolute control. And the most horrifying part of it, at least to me? The fact that we are all ignorant. That we know nothing of this. That this is all happening behind our backs, without our consent.

I encourage all of you to watch this video, and keep spreading the word about it. Let our government, those pig-headed officials, know that we will not be lied to, be deceived, any longer.

Losing our backbone, hm?

Here are two fantastic videos that describe my extreme disbelief with the growing idiocy of our government. No longer do I see the future of this country as our being brave and strong-willed, I only see a future of our softness, arrogance, and the complete lack of a backbone.

The Oil Spill

About time I got around to posting about this much-discussed topic.

Now, I wasn't sure that I wanted to say anything at all about this. For one thing, this topic has been beaten to death by any blogs that involve politics, and I didn't want to be saying the exact same thing that everyone else is. And for another thing, my suspicions are quite outrageous. But they are only that; suspicions. I'm going to sound like a cooky old fellow, and in some ways I am exactly that.

I don't trust my government. It's a sad day in America when one feels that way. But I truly don't. And therefore, I think up crazy things about how they are plotting against us. Well, not necessarily against us, but for themselves. And I believe I may just have discovered another plot by our brilliant current administration.

Obama ran an astounding campaign. It was flashy and hip and modern, and all Americans are drawn to that kind of thing. McCain's campaign was absolutely lackluster, boring and old-school compared to it. Obama knew what to say and when to say it, to get the crowd positively wetting themselves with excitement. So if Obama knew how to work people in his favor, knew what to say to calm the crowd, and knew how to act to make people trust him, then why is he making such stupid mistakes lately with this oil spill? Why is he still golfing and partying in Las Vegas when an estimated 60,000 barrels of oil a day are leaking into the Gulf?

Because he's stalling. He doesn't want to address the problem yet. Wouldn't it be simple enough for him to head down to the coast in Louisiana, roll up his sleeves, and began addressing people's demands? And no, not just by talking at them, but by actually fulfilling them? Yes, it would. But he isn't doing that. He's stalling.

But Boethius, you exclaim. Why in the world would he be purposefully avoiding the disaster? Because, my friends. Because he wants the oil to keep spilling.

Huh? Are you insinuating that Obama orchestrated this whole calamity? No, I'm not. In fact, I think Obama had no idea this was going to happen. But when it did, he took advantage of it. It was his golden opportunity. Oil, horrible terrible oil, hurting helpless little pelicans? Oh, the stuff must be of the devil! Be gone with that horrendous oil! There shall be no more oil! Hey, wait, what about using it for energy? But Obama! Remember Obama? Remember what he was talking about? He said something about green, clean energy. You know, the kind of energy that won't hurt those poor pelicans. Yeah, I remember now! Hey, let's get Obama to make sure everything uses that kind of energy! Hooray!

Yes, you read it right. Obama is letting the oil continue to gush into the Gulf because he wants to use this spill as an excuse to spend massive amounts of money on that so-called clean energy. I have a feeling he won't let it continue for too much longer, but just long enough that people loathe everything to do with oil and oil companies.

It sounds disgusting, but I believe in it. Choose what you'd like to believe, but once Obama begins pushing for his clean energy again, remember this post, and remember that Boethius knew.

No Words

None. I have no words for this.

He needs to get the hell out of my, our, country. He is no American. He doesn't deserve the freedom that American citizens are granted. He should either be deported or thrown in the slammer for life, because a man who is telling others to go kill white people and their babies sounds pretty dangerous to me.

And Obama. Mr. President. Mr. I-Became-President-For-All-The-Swooning-And-Fainting-And-Really-Have-No-Freaking-Idea-What-I'm-Doing. If you're reading this, I can only say that I also have no idea what you're doing, letting a man like this get away without any charges, but it will have repercussions. You can bet on that. I know that you believe that we American citizens are idiotic, naive fools, but we're not. We are a nation of the bravest, greatest, most heroic people on the planet. And we will not stand for this crap.

I would write a long, analytical, brilliant essay on this, examining this man intensions, examining Obama's intensions, but they don't deserve my time and my thoughts. Besides, I'm getting a creeping suspicion on their intentions which I feel would probably not please the bulk on my audience. Let's just say that somehow I believe their intentions are intermingled. Why, you ask? Why would I assume something so terrible? Two words, my friends, my avid readers. Jeremiah Wright. Yes, the very man who preached the same mindset to Obama. Perhaps the idea grew on him.

Please, America. Please. Come November 2012, please remember that Obama let this man, this terrible, hateful waste of space, be a face of America on the nets. Obama let this man roam free among your children, even after he encouraged others to kill them. Obama let this man enjoy the freedom that true American citizens enjoy, when he so clearly does not deserve freedom, or kindness, or anything. Please remember all of these things. And I hate to sound like a begging child, but please, please vote to fix them.

Happy Birthday, America

Our country is 234 years old today, and oh, how we have changed since the signing of our declaration. Clearly we have evolved by means of technology and have grown by means of the sophistication of our government. But not all changes have been good. Because, sadly, I can feel the flame that is the pride of our country and the sweetness of our freedom slowly diminishing in our hearts. Our fathers who risked everything for us in the act of signing that declaration had that fire in their hearts. They ignored all the troubles that may come their way, and instead sold themselves to a cause that meant more to them than their lives. But I can bet all of you that not many people representing us at the moment would be willing to do the same. America doesn't mean so much to them. Their fires have been extinguished, or perhaps were never even lit. However, there always will be brave, noble people who are willing, who have shown that they were willing in the past. Our military is filled with those brave young people, and even those brave old people. Each and every single one of them should be honored for continuing the work that our fathers began 234 years ago, for each and every single one of them shares that same burning and that same respect and love for their country, the United States of America.

If there was something I could do as a lowly writer of an unrecognized blog on the nets to help those who have lost their fires regain them, I would. But I cannot. And so I look to those who are recognized, who do have a following to do that for me, and to help our people remember that they live in the greatest country on Earth.

For we are the greatest country on Earth. I don't believe in measuring greatness by our present situation. I believe in measuring greatness by the people of our past, and by their dedication and their bravery towards freedom and independence and happiness for all. And our people had these qualities to spare. So on this most wonderful 4th, don't think about fireworks and barbecues and little unimportant things like those. Instead dwell on the founding father that resides in all of us, and his passion that can and will live on in our hearts.

Ignorance: Take Two

Once again on the topic of ignorance? I just couldn't help myself upon seeing this video.

Stark's arrogance, combined with that beloved ignorance, makes me want puke up organs. Isn't he aware that without us, without our vote, he would be nothing? Just another one of us, blending into the landscape. Forgettable. A mere citizen. And, of course, the fact remains that he is just one of us. He is a citizen. A citizen with a title. Nothing more.

And yet he believes that his title enables him to act and say anything he wants, without repercussions. Well, we'll see what happens in November, won't we?

I'm tired of these arrogant politicians. Come November, we will remind them of their place. They will be thrown overboard, be kicked out, be replaced, however you'd like to spin it. These people were elected to voice our opinions, and yet they scoff at them? Something needs to be done. Someone needs to show these people how we really feel about their attitudes. No, violence is not the answer, and no, I'm not insinuating that it is. Because it really doesn't accomplish anything, even if these people do deserve a good punch in the gut. So the power of our words will have to sustain us, for now, until November comes along. And believe me, when November does come around, these people will be gone before they can say the word communist. And so, citizens of America, remember this man when you are at the ballot box, ready to help make history by voting these loons overboard. Remember his attitude towards your fellow citizens. The way he scoffed at their words and their thoughts, the way he poked fun of illegals streaming into our country, taking our land and our people and our lives. Remember it all. And also remember this: You have the power to change it all.
